Kitchen appliances and utensils: refrigerator, measuring cup or kitchen scale, stewpan, silicone mold for sweets or ice, spoon, hob.
Ingredients
Any clear juice (grape) | 210 g |
Gelatin Powder | 30 g |
Lemon | ½ part |
Granulated sugar | 90 g |
Step cooking
- We pour 210 grams of any transparent juice into the stewpan, in this case grape juice.
- Pour 30 grams of gelatin powder into the juice and squeeze the juice out of 1/2 of the lemon. Mix everything and wait for the gelatin to swell. If your gelatin is instant, then you do not need to wait.
- We put the stewpan on the stove, turn on the gas and mix the mixture until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- When the gelatin has dissolved, turn off the stove, pour 90 grams of granulated sugar into the stewpan and mix again until completely dissolved.
- Cool the finished mixture a little and pour into silicone molds for sweets or ice.
- We remove air bubbles from the surface of sweets using a paper towel.
- We put the mold in the refrigerator for an hour and a half.
Decoration methods and serving options
- If you wish, you can use apple or any other transparent juice if you want your sweets to shine through. If this is not important for you, then use any juice without pulp at your discretion.
- Do not rush to remove sugar and lemon juice from the recipe. Lemon gives a pleasant sourness to this marmalade, and sugar perfectly sets off the fresh taste of jelly.
- To make colorful and unusual marmalades, add a little food coloring of the desired color to the mixture.
- You can also use freshly squeezed juices, such as orange, for sweets. But then before cooking it will be necessary to strain it from the pulp.
- It is recommended to store such marmalade in a cool place so that it does not melt. If the candies are in the same bag or bowl, then at high temperature they can stick together.
- This is a great addition to tea and coffee.
