Ingredients
- pumpkin - 500 g
- granulated sugar - 50 g
- instant gelatin - 20 g
- bottled water - 30 ml
Step cooking
- First of all, we clean the pumpkin from the peel, seeds and other unnecessary parts. Cut the peeled fruit into small pieces. We will need about 500 g of peeled and chopped product.
- We send the crushed pumpkin to a baking sheet, previously covering it with baking paper for baking. Evenly distribute all the pieces throughout the baking sheet, and then send them to the oven heated to 180 ° C. Bake the pumpkin for half an hour until soft.
- We shift the baked product into a bowl and grind it with an immersion blender until it is in a mushy state.
- Add 50 g of granulated sugar to the resulting mashed potatoes and once again mix everything thoroughly with a blender.
- Pour 20 g of instant gelatin into a separate bowl.
- Pour 30 ml of hot bottled water there and mix both ingredients thoroughly with a whisk until the dry component is completely dissolved.
- We filter the gelatin mass through a fine sieve directly into a bowl of pumpkin puree. We use a sieve in order to avoid getting gelatin lumps.
- Using a submersible blender, we bring the components to a homogeneous consistency.
- We cover the glass form with cling film, on top of which we spread the cooked pumpkin mass. Evenly distribute the mass throughout the form and send it to the refrigerator until it solidifies.
- Put the frozen marmalade on a cutting board and remove the cling film.
- Using a sharp and long knife, we cut the layer into portioned pieces.
- Roll the finished marmalade thoroughly in sugar, then put the sweets in a beautiful dish.
