Ingredients
Name | amount |
Manti dough ready | 1 kg |
Potatoes | 10 pieces. |
Onion | 2 pcs. |
Butter | 100 g |
Vegetable oil | 3-4 tbsp. l |
Salt, Pepper, Seasoning | taste |
Step cooking
Make minced meat
- Dissolve the potatoes in small cubes.
- Pour potato cubes into a colander to drain excess juice.
- Finely chop the onion, preferably also in small cubes.
- Combine chopped onions with potato cubes. To taste, add salt, ground black pepper and seasonings (optional) to the minced meat and mix thoroughly.
Cut the dough
- Roll a sausage from the dough and cut into small pieces. Roll the pieces with tortillas.
- Put a sufficient amount of filling in the middle of each cake.
- Put a small piece of butter in the center of each mantle - this will add juiciness to the dish.
- Pinch the edges in any way convenient for you.
- While the manti are stacked in a special pan, put the bottom of the mantle with water on a large fire to boil. Set the middle part of the mantovarka with the mantas on the boiling water in the bottom of the pan and cook for 30 minutes.
Manti is served in portioned plates or laid out on one large dish, and small plates are set nearby. Mantas can be served with ketchups or sauces, both tomato and cream, sprigs of fresh herbs and, of course, fresh vegetables - cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, as well as vegetable salads, including onion salad.
