Ingredients
- Semolina - 200 g
- Sugar - 130 g
- Flour - 3 tbsp. l
- Eggs - 2 pcs.
- Sour cream - 350 g
- Soda - ½ tsp.
- Vinegar - ½ tbsp. l
- Vegetable oil - 10 g
Step cooking
- Take a deep bowl in which it will be convenient to knead the dough. Mix 200 g semolina, 130 g sugar.
- Sift through a sieve of 3 tbsp in advance. l wheat flour, then add to the dry ingredients and mix everything thoroughly.
- Next, add 350 g of sour cream and 2 eggs.
- Stir the mixture until a uniform consistency is formed and leave for 30-40 minutes. During this time, semolina should swell a little, and the dough should thicken.
- ½ tsp extinguish soda ½ tbsp. l vinegar, add to the dough and mix quickly.
- Take a baking dish with a diameter of about 22-24 cm. Lubricate the mold with 10 g of odorless vegetable oil, pour the dough into it.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and place the mold in it. Bake mannik until cooked for 30-40 minutes.
- Remove the manna from the oven and let it cool completely. Serve in portions. Enjoy your meal.
Cooking recommendations
- Be sure to let the dough stand for 30-40 minutes so that the semolina is saturated with moisture. Otherwise, semolina grains will be felt in the finished baking.
- Vanilla sugar, cinnamon or cloves can be added to the dough for flavor.
- For a change, you can add raisins, chopped dried apricots, coconut flakes or chocolate chips to the dough.
- The finished manna will be very easy to remove from the demountable form. If not, cover your mold with baking paper or foil.
- In order for the manna to turn out to be juicy, soak it with milk or any syrup, immediately after you get it out of the oven.
- Serve the manna with jam, melted chocolate or condensed milk. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and berries.
