Step cooking
- We begin the cooking process. First, chop the garlic and onion into small pieces.
- We remove the core from the red bell pepper, rinse the pepper and cut it into strips.
- We heat the pan. Pour a small amount of vegetable oil on it and let it heat. Add onion and garlic to a preheated oil pan. Fry well, stirring continuously with a spatula, until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add bell pepper and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomato paste, tomato juice and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- After a while, add dried basil, finely chopped parsley, salt, and mix well. We cover the ingredients with a lid, reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer for 5-10 minutes, while the pasta is cooked.
- To boil pasta, heat the water in a pan, add salt to it and add a couple of drops of vegetable oil. We cook pasta exactly as much as indicated on the packaging. Each manufacturer and type of pasta always has a different time for cooking. When the pasta is ready, put them on a colander and drain the excess liquid. Ready pasta is added to the pan with vegetable sauce, mix well and serve.

Pasta with vegetable sauce is considered a fairly ordinary dish, which can often be found with any family at dinner or lunch. However, you can always prepare such a dish for the festive table, simply serving it in a special way, or slightly change the recipe to taste. To serve this particular dish to the table for guests and loved ones, you can lay it out in two ways:
- Like in a restaurant. Put a small amount of pasta with gravy in a plate for each guest, approximately 200-250 grams in the middle of the plate. Garnish the dish with finely chopped herbs and a slice of lemon.
- Like on the buffet table. Put the pasta in a large festive dish, for example, glass or porcelain, with beautiful patterns. Place the same festive napkin under the bottom and insert a spoon into the dish for the convenience of guests.
