Step cooking
- To get started, prepare the vegetables. Peel about 150 g of onion, rinse and cut into small cubes on a cutting board. Rinse 180 g of tomatoes and cut into small cubes as well. If you wish, you can peel the tomatoes; for this, pour boiling water over them to make it easier to peel. Then peel about 120 g carrots, rinse and grate on a coarse grater.
- You can choose meat at your discretion - pork, beef, chicken or turkey fillet. Rinse 500 g of meat under water and pat dry with paper towels. Then cut it into medium-sized pieces.
- Pour 1 tbsp into the multicooker bowl. l vegetable oil. Turn it on and select the "Frying" mode, wait about 2-3 minutes for the oil to heat, and then send the onions, tomatoes and carrots to fry in it, stirring occasionally with a spatula.
- After 5 minutes of frying vegetables, add chopped meat to the multicooker bowl, mix well and fry for about 5 minutes. Then add to the meat 3 tbsp. l ketchup or 1.5 tbsp. l tomato paste and mix well with all the ingredients. Once you have all mixed well, turn off the Frying mode.
- Sprinkle the meat and vegetables with a mixture of peppers and salt to taste. You can also use other spices at your discretion - dried oregano, basil, parsley, garlic, Provence herbs, etc. Boil 200 ml of water in the teapot and add boiling water to the multicooker bowl, mix everything well with a spatula. Close the lid of the multicooker and select the “Stew” mode for 30 minutes, if you cook pork or chicken, for beef, set the stew time for 1 hour.
- After this time, the meat is completely cooked, open the slow cooker and pour about 500 g of dry pasta of hard varieties into it, mix everything well and add salt to your taste. It is absolutely necessary to use pasta of hard varieties so that they do not boil and do not turn into porridge.
- In a teapot, boil another 700 ml of boiling water and fill them with pasta so that they are completely covered with water. Close the lid of the multicooker and cook the pasta in the "Rice / Grains" or "Baking" for 10 minutes. After this time, the dish is completely ready.
You can sprinkle the finished dish with finely chopped herbs to your taste and serve with a salad of fresh vegetables or with canned vegetables.
