Ingredients
- Zucchini - 800 g
- Pasta - 400 g
- Onions - 2 pcs.
- Tomatoes - 2-3 pcs.
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Hard cheese - 100 g
- Butter - 20 g
- Vegetable oil for frying - 4 tbsp. l
- Dried basil - 0.5 tbsp. l
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Step cooking
- First, prepare all the ingredients, and then we will combine them into a single dish: boil 400 g of pasta in salted boiling water. It can be shells, horns, spirals or other varieties of pasta that you will find in your home. Cooking time depends on the type of product and is 15-25 minutes. When the pasta is ready, salt the water, add 20 g of butter to the pasta and set the pan aside for a while.
Did you know? When cooking pasta, make sure that they do not boil. When the products are ready, it is better to throw them in a colander and rinse with cold water. If you want to leave the pasta in a pan, then mix them with a little oil so that they do not stick together.
- Onions (2-3 heads depending on size) are washed, cleaned, cut into large cubes and set aside in a separate plate.
- Zucchini (800 g) also cut into cubes. If the zucchini is young, then the skin can not be peeled, if the vegetables are larger, then you need to clean the seeds from the middle and cut off the outer peel.
- On a coarse grater we rub 100 g of hard cheese.
- Wash the tomatoes (2-3 pcs.), Remove the green stalks and cut a medium-sized cube.
- Peel the garlic clove, crush it with the flat side of the knife and chop it finely.
- When all the products are sliced, we proceed to cooking: pour 4 tbsp into a preheated pan. l vegetable oil and fry the onion cubes until transparent.
- When the onion becomes transparent, add chopped zucchini and fry, stirring, for 10 minutes over medium heat.
- Then add the tomatoes and garlic, mix everything.
- Pour 0.5 tbsp. l dry basil, salt and pepper to taste. After stirring, close the contents of the pan with a lid and simmer for another 10 minutes. over medium heat.
- Add the boiled pasta, mix and leave for another 3 minutes on fire under a lid so that the foods are saturated with tastes.
- Sprinkle everything with grated cheese, mix until the cheese melts and serve. When serving, the dish can be decorated with greens.
