Step cooking
All vegetables must be peeled and washed. Use a kitchen scale to weigh other necessary products.
- Cut the onion in half, and then divide each half across into three approximately equal parts and cut into thin straws. Grate the carrots on a fine grater.
- Put a frying pan on the fire, pour a little vegetable oil and heat. In a preheated pan, fry the onions until golden.
- Then add minced meat to the pan, mix everything well. Add salt, pepper and other spices as desired.
- When the minced meat is a little fried, add grated carrots to it, chopped garlic can be added if desired. Mix well again and cook another 2-3 minutes until the carrots are soft.
- After that add a few tablespoons of tomato paste or ketchup, mix and remove the pan from the heat.
- In a medium-sized pan, put boiling water. Once the water boils, add a little salt and boil the pasta until half cooked. Then rinse them under cold running water and discard to drain into a colander. You can choose the shape of pasta at your discretion.
- For the casserole, you need to prepare the fill. To do this, in a separate bowl, combine eggs, mayonnaise, sour cream and milk with a whisk or mixer until a homogeneous consistency. Add spices to taste.
- Grease a heat-resistant baking dish with high sides with vegetable oil.
- Pour about half of the pasta into a mold and spread evenly on the bottom.
- Put the frying of minced meat and vegetables on top, flatten everything.
- Cover the minced meat with a layer of pasta, smooth the top layer well with a spatula or spoon.
- Pour specially prepared filling over the entire surface and sprinkle with an even layer of grated hard cheese.
- Preheat the oven to 180-200 ° and send the casserole to cook for 20-30 minutes, depending on the features of your oven. Ready casserole should be covered with a golden brown crust. After baking is finished, remove the dish from the oven, decorate with chopped herbs and serve to the table in portions, preferably in a warm or hot form.
Did you know? To make the cheese crust on the casserole not too dry and brittle, sprinkle the grated cheese 2-3 minutes before the end of the baking.
