Step cooking
- You can bake whole salmon in the oven, as well as steaks or other parts of the fish. In this case, you can use one recipe. In this case, prepare 2-3 steaks for 2 people. If you purchased a whole fish, then first clean it and cut it into pieces. Using a sharp kitchen knife, we make an incision on the belly and get the insides, then washing the fish under water. Cut off the head, tail and fins, clean from scales and rinse again. Cut into pieces no larger than 3 cm.
- After cutting the salmon into steaks, we start preparing the seasoning for the fish. To do this, finely chop a bunch of cilantro. You can use any other fresh herbs to your liking. The crushed cilantro is placed in a deep bowl.
- Through a press we pass 4 cloves of garlic and add to the cilantro. To garlic and herbs, add half a teaspoon of sugar and slightly add salt, adding 2 tsp. salt. To cook salmon in the oven, you can use sea salt. Water the whole mixture 1-1.5 tbsp. l olive oil and mix thoroughly.
- We grease each salmon steak with the resulting mixture, evenly distributing it over the entire surface of the fish. We shift salmon to the glossy side of aluminum foil. Lubricate the back of the red fish.
- Spread a few slices of lemon on top of the salmon. Each steak is wrapped in foil separately. It is important to pack the fish tightly so that it is well baked and does not become dry due to air.
- Wrap the salmon pieces wrapped in foil in a baking dish or a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and put a baking tray with salmon in it for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, open the foil and bake salmon for another 10-15 minutes, so that it is browned.
- We lay out the finished red fish on a beautiful dish. Serve baked salmon with steamed asparagus, grilled vegetables and any other side dish of your choice and taste. As a decoration, you can use fresh herbs and a few slices of lemon.
