Step cooking
- We wash 100 grams of rice under running water, put it in a small saucepan, fill it with a glass of water, cook until tender, decant and remove to the side.
- We cut cabbage in the amount of 500 grams into cubes in approximately the same way as we cut onions, put them in a separate bowl.
- We heat the water almost to a boil, fill the cabbage, cover the bowl with a lid, let the cabbage stand for a while.
- Peel one onion from the husk, wash it under the tap, cut into 4-6 parts, place in a blender bowl.
- We clean two cloves of garlic, wash it, send it to the onion in a blender. Turn on the blender and chop the vegetables.
- In a separate container we place 500 grams of minced beef and chicken, add onion and garlic, crushed in a blender, and then boiled rice. You do not need to rinse the rice so that the gluten does not go away.
- Drain the water in the cabbage, wring it out with your hands to get rid of excess moisture, then add the cabbage to the minced meat and rice.
- We drive one chicken egg here, add two pinches of black pepper.
- Knead the minced meat, beat it off slightly, so it becomes thicker and more elastic.
- We take out a baking sheet, grease the surface with vegetable oil, about 1-2 tablespoons.
- Pour 100 grams of breadcrumbs into a separate bowl, you can cook them yourself from dried bread in a blender.
- We wet our palms with water, take about one tablespoon of minced meat, form a stuffed patty out of it, roll in breadcrumbs, put it on a baking sheet.
- We do this with all the stuffing. When all the cabbage rolls are formed, send them to the oven for 20 minutes at a temperature of 190 degrees.
- While lazy cabbage rolls will be baked, prepare a sauce for them. We clean one large onion, wash it, chop finely, remove to the side.
- We clean one medium-sized carrot, wash it, rub it on a coarse grater.
- Wash two large tomatoes, rub on a coarse grater, holding on to the skin. We remove it, it will not be needed.
- We send 200 grams of thick fat sour cream to a separate bowl, add 500 ml of water, mix the mixture with a whisk until smooth.
- We send the pan to the fire, pour two tablespoons of vegetable oil, put the chopped onion there and fry it until translucent.
- When the onion becomes translucent, put the grated carrots in the pan, fry for 2-3 minutes, and then pour the juice from fresh tomatoes.
- In the same mixture with the help of garlic presses, grind three cloves of garlic, mix everything.
- Keep on fire for 1-2 minutes, then add a mixture of sour cream with water.
- Add half a teaspoon of salt, 1-2 pinches of ground black pepper, bay leaf, mix and boil the sauce for 1-2 minutes. Remove the sauce from the heat, set aside.
- 20 minutes have passed since the roasting of cabbage rolls, they have already taken shape and strengthened. We take out the baking sheet from the oven, fill the cabbage rolls with the prepared sauce, send it again to bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Ready lazy cabbage rolls serve as a separate dish or complement them with a side dish.
