Step cooking
- To prepare the dough, pour 400 ml of kefir of any fat content into a deep container and add half a teaspoon of soda to it. Shuffle these components so that they begin to interact with each other. I do not advise mixing them in a mug or bowl, since kefir will foam and can overflow over the edges. Leave the kefir with soda to stand at room temperature for a while, until you get the filling.
- Put 300 g of minced meat in a separate bowl and add spices to it. I like to use half a teaspoon of paprika, ground garlic, salt and a pinch of ground black pepper. Rinse the bunch of herbs and peel two small onions. Chop greens and onions finely and also add to the bowl. Stuffing can use the one that you like. Most often I cook lazy whites with minced chicken. Firstly, it is less caloric, and secondly, the chicken cooks faster than other types and meat, and the filling will definitely not be raw. Mix all the ingredients and spices together and set the minced meat aside.
- Add 250 g flour and a teaspoon of sugar to the container with kefir and soda. Knead the dough with a spoon or spatula until smooth. As you can see, we do not use eggs in the recipe, unlike the classic whites recipe. Therefore, the dough will come out very light and airy. Do not be afraid that by consistency it will turn out to be quite liquid. This is normal.
- Pour the sunflower oil into the pan so that it covers the entire bottom. I recommend you cook this dish at the minimum power of your stove. So that the filling has time to cook, but the dough does not stick. On a hot oil, put one tablespoon of dough.
- Top with one teaspoon of minced meat and cover it with half a tablespoon of dough so that the filling is completely covered with dough on all sides.
- Roast no more than 10 minutes on each side. If you want to reduce the calories of the whites, put them from the pan onto several layers of disposable paper towels. Thus, excess sunflower oil is absorbed by the towels.
- Serve the whites hot. They are a complete side dish, which goes well with a variety of sauces, as well as fresh vegetables.
