Step cooking
- Sift 350 g of flour into a bowl. We recommend sifting flour twice so that the dough after baking is more airy. For pizza we use the highest quality white flour.
- Add 8 g of dry yeast to the flour. If you use pressed yeast, you must first soak them. To do this, grind 25 g of pressed yeast, put in a bowl, pour 200 ml of warm water, add salt, sugar, a little flour, mix and leave to fit. After that, add flour and olive oil. But in this recipe we prepare light pizza dough with dried yeast, so we pour them into flour, mix with a wooden or silicone spatula.
- In a separate bowl, pour one tablespoon of sugar, one teaspoon of salt, pour 200 ml of warm water. The water temperature should not exceed 40 degrees, otherwise the yeast will not start its reaction. Add 40 ml of olive oil. If there is no olive, use refined sunflower (odorless), mix.
- Combine dry ingredients with liquid, knead the dough. Add the flour portionwise, divide the whole amount into three parts. First, knead the dough with a spatula. When it becomes dense, sprinkle flour on the work surface and spread the dough. Knead it with your hands for 5 minutes.
- Then we roll it up with a ball, put it on a cutting board or in a bowl, cover with a towel and leave it to come for 30-40 minutes. After that, we can use the dough for its intended purpose.
- After the dough is suitable, we can turn on the oven to heat up to 180 degrees and form a blank for pizza. Lubricate the surface with a uniform layer of sauce. We spread tomatoes and meat products. Add mushrooms, corn. Lubricate the top with a layer of sauce and sprinkle the entire surface with a dense layer of grated cheese. Cheese use hard varieties that melt well. After that we send to the oven, bake for 20-25 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
Pizza Cooking Tips
- From this amount of dough, you can make several small portioned pizzas, or two or three large. Sprinkle the work surface with flour. By the way, you can work not with flour in order to clog the dough less with it, but with vegetable oil. Then grease the working surface with vegetable oil. From the dough, we pluck the right amount for one pizza. Lubricate the hands with vegetable oil, form a cake from the dough. Then roll out the rolling pin with a rolling pin. It can be of any thickness. If you like the finished pizza to have thin dough, then make it up to 3 mm thick. If you prefer a more magnificent dough, then a thickness of up to 1 cm is suitable.
- Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and spread the dough. Cover with a towel and leave to approach for about 10 minutes. At this time, prepare the filling. It can be very diverse. Almost any ingredients are suitable for pizza. It can be sausages, meat products, seafood. As a complement, vegetables such as pickled cucumbers, fresh tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms are suitable. Corn, pineapples go well in pizza. Be sure to grease the dough with sauce. It can be done independently or purchased ready-made.Alternatively, you can mix ketchup with mayonnaise, add Provencal herbs. If you like spicy dishes, use spicy ketchup, or add a little red pepper to the sauce.
