Ingredients
- bell pepper - 2 kg
- tomatoes - 1 kg
- onions - 500 g
- beans (raw) - 500 g
- garlic - 1 head
- sugar - 100 g
- salt - 50 g
- citric acid - 1 tsp.
- vegetable oil - 250 ml
Step cooking
- Immediately you need to prepare 500 g of beans. If you have Little Red Riding Hood beans, they should be washed and soaked overnight in cold water, and then boiled until half cooked, draining excess water from the pan. If you use small sugar beans, then you do not need to boil it, but just rinse and soak for 12-14 hours.
- You also need to prepare all the vegetables. Grind 1 kg of tomatoes in any way convenient for you by making tomato juice from them. You can do this with a special combine, blender, meat grinder or the most common grater. Peel 3 kg of bell pepper from seeds and tails, and then cut into half rings or quarters with a size of 0.5 mm. Peel 500 g of onion, wash and cut into a small cube. Peel 1 large head of garlic.
- Next, put a large pan with a thick bottom or a cauldron on the fire, then pour 250 ml of odorless vegetable oil into a container and warm it well. When the oil is hot enough, put chopped onions in it and fry it for 7-10 minutes, stirring constantly.
- When the onion has become slightly golden, add grated tomatoes and chopped bell pepper to the cauldron, mix the ingredients, bring the mass to a boil and boil for 5 minutes.
- After 5 minutes, add to the cauldron with vegetables 500 g of beans, which you soaked in advance, as well as 50 g of salt and 100 g of granulated sugar. Mix the ingredients thoroughly and bring the mixture to a boil.
- When the lecho begins to boil evenly, remove the heat to a minimum and cook for another 1 hour.
- 10 minutes before the end of cooking, add 1 head of crushed garlic and 1 tsp. To vegetables. (without a hill) of citric acid, mix everything again and wait for the cooking to finish.
- While vegetables with beans are being boiled, cans with lids can be sterilized. One of the simplest ways to sterilize a can is to pour a little water at the bottom and send it to the microwave for several minutes at full power. The lids can be simply boiled.
- Take a sterilized jar, put it on a plate and fill it hot to the top to the top, then cover and roll it with a special key. You don’t need to turn over such cans, just cover them with something warm and wait until they cool completely.
