Step cooking
- Bell pepper with a volume of 800 grams in my cold water, let it dry a little, cut in half, remove the seeds inside, free from excess pulp, cut off the stalk. On a cutting board, cut the whole pepper into medium slices. We place the chopped pepper in a deep container, remove so far to the side.
- We spread 500 grams of tomato paste in a separate container, add 250 ml of water there, mix. Pour chopped pepper in a separate container with this tomato mixture.
- Add 7-8 peas of pepper, 5-6 peas of allspice. Pour one tablespoon of salt and sugar, add one bay leaf.
- We place the container with the ingredients on the fire, give time to boil, and keep on the stove in a boiling state for 20-30 minutes. During this cooking, use a kitchen spoon with a long handle to mix pepper after a certain period of time. In the middle of the boiling process, add two tablespoons of 9 percent vinegar and two tablespoons of sunflower oil to pepper.
- While the pepper is boiling, peel four medium-sized cloves of garlic, wash it under the tap, squeeze it through a press directly into a container of boiling pepper.
- We wash one pod of hot red pepper, cut 3-4 slices with a knife, send to the rest of the ingredients on the stove, cook for another 15 minutes over low heat.
- Wash in advance and sterilize half-liter jars in the amount of two pieces.
- Put the prepared bell pepper hot in jars and immediately clog them. We made lecho, which can be prepared for the winter, and you can eat right away.

- When preparing canned bell peppers, it is better to use peppers of various colors: yellow, red, green. Then the bed at the bank looks beautiful and appetizing.
- When preparing the ingredients for lecho, you can use tomato paste, both home-made and bought at the supermarket.
- Pay attention to the quality, taste and smell of the sunflower oil that you intend to use. Bitter, unpleasant odor due to long-term storage of vegetable oil immediately can adversely affect the taste of the cooked lecho, and it will be impossible to eat it.
