Step cooking
- Before preparing rolls of pita bread with salmon, it is necessary to prepare fish. It is possible to use red fish of your own ambassador, or to buy one that is already ready in the store. We need 300 g of salmon, from which all the bones are removed and the skin is removed if it is present.
- Cut the salmon into slices 1-2 mm thick. If the red fish is poorly cut, it can first be sent to the freezer for 5-10 minutes, and then it can be easily cut into thin slices.
- Cut 1 large cucumber into strips. There is no need to peel it. This is only required if it is very stiff.
- We wash half a bunch of parsley and shake well from water. Grind the parsley a little. You can also replace parsley with dill or other herbs of your choice.
- We unfold the sheet of pita bread on the table and grease 250 g of cream cheese. Mascarpone is used in this recipe, but you can take another one that you like best. It is also possible to replace cheese with sour cream with 20% fat content. Be sure to coat the edges well, because if they remain dry, then the roll will turn badly.
- We spread salmon slices in a small distance from each other over the entire area of pita bread, and lay a cucumber between them. It is necessary to spread the ingredients not completely, so that 7-10 cm of pita bread remain free.
- Turn lavash with salmon and cucumber. At the end, hands give the roll a more even shape.
- Cutting a roll with salmon requires a very sharp knife, otherwise the pieces will not turn out smooth, and will fall apart.
- The second roll is prepared in a similar way, but instead of cucumber, add chopped parsley. Scatter the last evenly over the entire surface of the pita bread, spreading pieces of red fish on top.
- We turn pita bread and cut into slices of 1.5-2 cm. As a filling for rolls, it is also possible to use curd cheese, yogurt without fillers and sugar, and other ingredients at your discretion. Such pita rolls with salmon can be served on the festive table or used as a snack at the buffet table. Top pita with salmon is decorated with olives, herbs or a slice of lemon.
