Step cooking
Chicken preparation
- We wash the chicken fillet (350 g) under running water and dry it. Cut into small cubes.
- Peel one medium-sized carrot from the peel and grind it into small cubes.
- Sweet bell pepper (1 pc.) Peeled from the insides and cut into small cubes.
- We heat a thick-walled pan, add two tablespoons of vegetable oil to it, carefully distributing it over the entire surface.
- We spread the chicken into cubes diced in a preheated pan and fill it with two tablespoons of soy sauce, mix.
- Add chopped vegetables to the meat in the pan, mix thoroughly.
Noodle preparation
- Pour two liters of water into a large pot and set to boil.
- Boil the water in a saucepan a little and add two udon noodles to it. Stir occasionally with a spoon. Vadim until readiness as indicated on the packaging of products.
- When the noodles have cooked for several minutes, pour 200 ml of cold water into the pan. This is necessary so that the noodles do not stick together during cooking.
Teriyaki sauce preparation
You can use both store sauce and homemade. The advantage of homemade is the exceptional quality of the ingredients that you control.
It is good to cook such a sauce for the future and store in the refrigerator. It is used in many vegetable, meat, flour and fish dishes. In addition, preparing spicy teriyaki sauce is quite simple.
- In a small saucepan we combine: 70 ml of purified water, 100 ml of soy sauce, 50-60 grams of sugar, 4 crushed cloves of garlic, one tablespoon of honey and wine vinegar, three teaspoons of starch, a teaspoon of grated ginger and vegetable oil.
- Mix the mixture thoroughly with a whisk. It is important that the starch dissolves and does not form lumps.
- We put the stewpan on the fire and bring to a boil, constantly stir with a whisk and cook for 3 minutes. Filter the hot mixture through a sieve and allow to cool. After cooling completely, teriyaki sauce is ready for use and storage.
Dish assembly
- In the pan, add a tablespoon of sesame seeds to the meat and vegetables, and then pour the boiled and washed udon noodles there, simmer for 3 minutes.
- Before turning off the fire, add 40 ml of teriyaki sauce to the dish, mix thoroughly. We leave the udon noodles with chicken to stand for another 5 minutes. Before serving, the dish can be decorated with sesame seeds and cilantro.
