Step cooking
- Boil rice in advance until half cooked. To do this, send 400 g of water to the fire, let it boil. We rinse 200 g of rice until the water is clear. Salt the boiling water, pour the rice, mix and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. As a result, we get semi-finished rice. Throw it in a colander, rinse, leave it on demand. We clean one onion, rinse. Peel two cloves of garlic. Grind garlic with onions with a blender or pass through a meat grinder.
- In a deep bowl, put 500 g of minced chicken. Stuffing can be done independently or used in-store. You can also use fresh-home-made pork and beef.
- Pour the cooled rice to the minced meat, add the chopped onions and garlic, mix.
- Drive one egg, sprinkle with salt, pepper to taste, mix until smooth.
- Now you need to beat off the minced meat a bit so that the finished meatballs keep their shape well. To do this, collect it all in hand or in parts, lift it over the bowl by about 15 cm and throw it into the bowl. Repeat this procedure 15 times. The meat will secrete protein, which helps ready-made meatballs to maintain their shape.
- Lubricate the baking dish with vegetable oil. We wet our hands with water and form meatballs. In general, they can be of any shape and size. We make round, flattened shapes the size of half a chicken egg. Put the meatballs in the form.
- Now make the sauce. We clean a small onion, cut into small cubes. Peel the carrots, wash, rub on a coarse grater.
- Add a pinch of salt to a glass of water, mix, then add three teaspoons of flour. Salt will help flour dissolve faster in water. At this time, it is time to turn on the oven 180 degrees to warm up.
- We send the pan to the fire, pour vegetable oil, let it heat. Pour onion, fry until transparent.
- Add carrots, fry until soft, stirring occasionally.
- Add tomato paste, mix and simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Add a glass of water, let it boil, add black ground pepper, salt to taste.
- Cut a bunch of greens. It can be dill, parsley or platter. Add to the frying, mix.
- Pour the flour mixture here, constantly stir while frying so that lumps do not form.
- Let’s boil, simmer for a minute and remove from heat.
- Pour meatballs with sauce and send to the preheated oven. Bake for 30 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
- We get ready meatballs and serve. Garnish can be pasta, potatoes, rice, buckwheat or any other cereal. In addition, serve a salad of fresh vegetables or pickles.
