- We’ll rinse 1 kg of chicken hearts and with the help of a knife or culinary scissors, we will clear the films, fat, white vessels and possible blood clots.
- Peel the onion and garlic and chop: chop the onion into thin rings, and let the garlic pass through the press.
- Wash parsley and dill and finely chop with a knife. We rub 100 g of any hard cheese on a coarse grater.
Cooking a dish
- Pour 3 tbsp into a deep, well-heated skillet. l vegetable oil and let it heat.
- Pour chicken hearts and fry, stirring occasionally. We fry for 15-20 minutes until the juice released from the hearts evaporates.
- After the required time, add salt and pepper to the hearts to taste, as well as chopped onions. Cook until it is transparent.
- To 200 g of sour cream, add 2 tsp. Dijon mustard seeds, if not, you can replace 1 tsp. ordinary, and mix. Add the resulting sauce to the hearts, here we send garlic and 1 tbsp. l flour. Spread everything evenly over the pan.
- Reduce the heat to a minimum and add boiling water to the pan so that it covers the hearts. Stir the resulting gravy and add salt and pepper, if necessary.
- Stew the hearts under the lid for about 1 hour, during which time they are almost completely cooked.
- Add grated cheese and chopped greens to the pan. Stir the gravy and simmer the dish for another 2-3 minutes until the cheese is dissolved.
- We serve the finished dish hot, with any porridge, vegetables, pasta or other side dish to your taste.
