- meat grinder;
- cutting board;
- kitchen knife;
- teaspoon and tablespoon;
- deep bowl;
- paper towels;
- dishes for the finished dish.
Ingredients
Chicken fillet | 600 g |
Long loaf or white bread | 4-5 slices |
Milk | 125 ml (half a cup) |
Small onion | 1 head |
Chives | 2-3 pcs. |
Salt pepper | taste |
Chicken eggs | 1 PC. |
Water | 650-700 ml |
Step cooking
- First you need to prepare the products: rinse the chicken fillet (600 g) in water, dry it with a paper towel and, if necessary, remove the remaining mucus and bones.
- Cut 4-5 slices of loaf or bread, put in a deep bowl and pour water (150-200 ml). It is better to use the flesh of a loaf, but if you don’t have one, the flesh of white bread is also suitable.
- If necessary, you can peel the onion head or 2-3 cloves of garlic. If you do not use these products, you can do without them. It is also advisable to prepare kitchen utensils.
- Pass the prepared fillet, onion, garlic and bread through a meat grinder, which must be squeezed out of the water beforehand.
- To the resulting mass add raw chicken egg (1 pc.), Salt and pepper to taste (you can add other spices, the main thing is that they combine with meat), as well as 125 ml of milk.
- Stir all the ingredients until a homogeneous, sufficiently liquid stuffing is obtained. Then it needs to be covered and refrigerated for 30-40 minutes.
- Pour approximately 500 ml of water into the multicooker bowl (up to the first bottom line indicated inside).
- Then put the steaming pan on top, form small cutlets with a spoon and put into the pan.
- Close the slow cooker, select the "Steam" function and set the timer for 20 minutes. Put the finished patties in a suitable dish and can be served on the table with a side dish.
Serve such cutlets with a wide variety of side dishes. For example, with buckwheat, rice, wheat or other porridge that you like. They also go well with mashed potatoes or peas.
But if you are a supporter of not only healthy nutrition, but also the right combination of products, then steamed chicken cutlets are best eaten with vegetables in the form of stews or salads. You can also decorate the dish with various sauces, vegetable slices and a wide variety of greens.
