Ingredients
Onion | 2 pcs. |
Chicken liver | 300 g |
Sour cream 20% | 150 g |
Vegetable oil | 1 tbsp. l |
Salt | taste |

Step cooking
- Onions (2 pcs.) Peel, wash and cut into small cubes with a sharp knife. Put the chopped onion aside.
- Take the chicken liver (300 g) and cut it into medium sized pieces.
- We put the pan on fire, heat it up and add a little (about 1 tbsp.) Vegetable oil to it.
- Then put chopped onions in a pan, mix it with a spatula and fry until light golden.
- When the onion is browned, add the chopped chicken liver to it and fry it for 10 minutes, periodically mixing the entire contents of the pan.
- After a specified period of time, add to the pan 150 g of sour cream of 20% fat, as well as salt and black pepper to taste.
- Mix everything thoroughly with a spatula. Slightly reduce the heat and simmer our dish for about 5 minutes (stirring several more times in the process).
- After a specified period of time, remove the pan from the fire and transfer the finished liver to a serving container. Enjoy your meal!
Decoration and serving
Serve such a dish should be hot with any side dish to your taste: mashed potatoes, spaghetti, buckwheat, rice, bulgur, etc. When serving, it is recommended to sprinkle the liver with chopped fresh herbs (parsley or dill). In order for the dish to have a more piquant taste and aroma, it can additionally be seasoned with spices and seasonings: curry, Provencal herbs, paprika, etc. For great sharpness, chopped garlic can also be added to the liver.
