Step cooking
- Cut the chicken breasts (900 g) into halves (if they are whole), pat them with a paper towel, salt and pepper to taste on both sides.
- We put the pan to heat on medium heat with 30 g of vegetable oil. We spread the breasts in a pan and fry until a golden crust appears on both sides, for about 2-3 minutes. each one.
- Lubricate the baking dish with butter (30 g), spread the breasts into it evenly. Finely chop a bunch of basil, divide the tomatoes into halves, remove the stalk, and cut the mozzarella in circles up to 1 cm thick.
- Turn on the oven to heat up to 200 degrees. We put the pan on the stove with medium heat, pour 250 g of cream into it, send 200 g of cream cheese to the cream. Constantly stirring with a whisk, bring to a boil.
- After the boiling of the creamy cheese mass begins, add salt and pepper to taste. If at this stage the sauce is too thick, you can add 30-50 g of water to it.
- After resuming boiling, turn off the stove, add the basil and mix the sauce.
- We send 250-300 g of tomatoes to the container with breasts, spread them around the perimeter of the container and between the breasts, pour evenly sauce from the pan.
- Close each breast piece with 2-3 slices of mozzarella.
- We send the container to the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes.
Garnishes such as rice, buckwheat, corn porridge, crushed or fried potatoes, etc., are quite suitable for the cooked dish. You can decorate the breasts in plates with fresh herbs and sliced tomatoes. Here you can easily dream up.
