Step cooking
- Prepare the ingredients and work surface. Take 500 g of chicken, wash and dry with a paper towel. In this recipe, the breasts will be baked in foil. Chicken fillet does not have excess fat, and due to the foil, the meat is very tasty, juicy, much tastier than boiled, and not as high-calorie as fried in oil in a pan. Thanks to the foil, the breasts will be cooked in their own juice.
- We make small envelopes of foil. To do this, we spread the foil in two layers and raise the sides so that the meat is well packed and juice does not leak out during baking. To obtain a fragrant and tasty baked chicken breast, it is pre-marinated. Added spices and seasonings emphasize the great taste of chicken.
- We put one fillet in each envelope and immediately marinate it. For each fillet, pour 1 tbsp. l soy sauce, it will give a salty taste and pleasant aroma. If you do not have enough salt, you can salt and pepper to taste at this stage.
- Next, pour 1 tbsp. l olive or sesame oil. Sesame oil is very well combined with chicken, we recommend using it.
- Then sprinkle with dried herbs, it can be thyme, oregano, marjoram, rosemary, basil, to your taste.
- On top of each breast, put one bay leaf. You can add chopped garlic.
- Tightly cover the chicken breast with foil on all sides. Put envelopes on a baking sheet and leave for 20 minutes to marinate the meat.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, send the pan to the middle level and bake for 25-30 minutes. In the process of baking, the breast may become dry, so you should not overexpose it in the oven. If desired, 10 minutes before readiness, you can open the foil on top and let the meat crust brown. Also, for the formation of a delicious crust, you can use grated cheese, which is sprinkled on the breasts at the very end of cooking.
- We take out the finished envelopes from the oven and leave for 10 minutes to rest and serve. Serve the whole breasts, or cut them into slices and pour over the juice that formed in the foil after baking.
- Baked breast in foil goes well with any side dishes.
