Ingredients
- Chicken breast (fillet) - 3 pcs.
- Tomatoes - 2 pcs.
- Onions - 1 pc.
- Bulgarian pepper - 1 pc.
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Sour cream (cream) 10% - 120 ml
- Tomato paste - 1 tbsp. l
- Wheat flour - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 1 tsp.
- Oregano - 1/2 tsp.
- Hard cheese - 70 g
- Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp. l
- Butter - 25 g
Step cooking
- Wash and peel vegetables well. Rinse and dry the meat quickly. Chop the onion (1 pc.) And 2 cloves of garlic. Heat in a pan 1 tbsp. l vegetable oil and fry the onions for 1-2 minutes. Add garlic and fry all together for another 3 minutes.
- Cut 1 bell pepper into small cubes or slices.
- Sauté the pepper with onion and garlic for 5 minutes. Put the fried vegetables in a greased baking dish.
- Cut the chicken fillet (3 pcs.) Into medium-sized cubes. In the pan in which the vegetables were fried, lay the chicken and cook, stirring occasionally, for 7-10 minutes.
- Then add to the meat 1 tbsp. l tomato paste, 1/2 tsp. salt and ground black pepper and mix well again.
- Transfer the fried chicken into a baking dish, spreading it evenly over the vegetables.
- Melt 25 g butter in a saucepan or a small frying pan.
- Add 1 tsp. wheat flour and mix thoroughly so that there are no lumps.
- Without removing from heat, add 120 ml of sour cream or cream of 10% fat and mix until smooth. Warm the sauce for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly and avoiding boiling.
- Pour the cream of meat and vegetables, trying to distribute it evenly.
- Slice 2 tomatoes into thin slices and arrange on top of the meat.
- Sprinkle the remaining salt and black pepper (1/2 tsp.) And 1/2 tsp. shredded dry oregano.
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C and bake chicken with vegetables for 15 minutes. Hard cheese (70 g), grate, cover with a casserole and return to the oven for another 5 minutes.
- Serve the chicken with vegetables as a standalone dish, or with some kind of side dish. Loose rice, boiled potatoes or pasta are well suited. Enjoy your meal!
Useful Tips
- Tomatoes and peppers can be peeled off the top hard film. To do this, lower them for 1-2 minutes. in boiling water, making previously shallow cuts on the skin. Then dip the vegetables in cold water for a couple of minutes - the peel can be easily removed.
