Chicken fillet (brisket) | 500 g |

Canned pineapple | 1 can (400 g) |

Ketchup | 2 tbsp. l |
Apple vinegar | 4 tbsp. l |
Starch | 2 tbsp. l |
Flour | 1 tbsp. l |
Soy sauce | 150-200 ml |
Step cooking
- Rinse the chicken fillet. Allow to drain. Cut the breast into small pieces. The size of one piece should be approximately 2 × 2 cm, 2 × 3 cm.
- Put the slices in a deep bowl and pour in soy sauce. The meat will marinate for 30 minutes.
- Wash the tomato and pepper, peel the seeds. If you have time, you can peel vegetables. To do this, pour the tomato with boiling water for a couple of minutes, and bake the pepper in the microwave. However, this recipe is not necessary. Cut vegetables into small cubes.
- Peel the ginger and grate it.
- Remove canned pineapple rings from a jar and cut into cubes. If you have a pineapple in a jar already diced - well, you don’t need to do anything, just pour the juice into a cup and that’s it. Do not pour juice or drink - it is also needed!
- Heat the pan well and pour in a little vegetable oil. First put pepper in a pan. Stirring, bring it to softness. It takes a few minutes.
- Then put the sliced tomato cubes to the pepper and fry them for 2-3 minutes too.
- When the peppers and tomatoes are slightly fried, add grated ginger and pineapple cubes. Then fry and stir again.
- After a minute, pour a little pineapple juice into the mass, 2 tbsp. tablespoons of ketchup, 4 tbsp. tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and 1-2 tbsp. tablespoons of soy sauce. Mix everything thoroughly.
- Pour a little water into a small container and pour 1 tbsp. a spoonful of starch. Mix well so that there are no lumps.
- In the sauce, which boils on fire, carefully and slowly pour the starch. Stir constantly. Before our eyes, the sauce should become thicker.
- As soon as it thickens - remove from heat.
- Take a new pan. In chicken, which has been marinated all this time in soy sauce, pour 1 tbsp. a spoonful of flour and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of starch. To stir thoroughly.
- Put in a pan and fry over medium heat. The chicken is cooked very quickly, literally 5-6 minutes.
- When the chicken is ready, pour it into the sauce, mix and send to stew on the fire for another couple of minutes.
- That's all! Your chicken in a spicy sweet and sour sauce is ready! Served with a side dish. Rice or bulgur is ideal.
