Step cooking
- Rinse all vegetables and chicken, peel onion and garlic. Cut the chicken into small slices and put them in a bowl.
- Add one tablespoon of curry seasoning to the chicken, a teaspoon of coriander and black pepper to taste.
- Pour a little vegetable oil into a bowl with chicken and sprinkle with a teaspoon of salt.
- Finely chop 3 cloves of garlic and also add them to the chicken. Mix everything thoroughly and leave the chicken to marinate.
- While the chicken is pickling, finely chop one onion.
- Take half the bell pepper and cut into small cubes.
- Pour the vegetable oil into a deep frying pan and let it warm up over medium heat. Put the onions in a pan and fry until soft, but do not bring to a golden color. Add the bell pepper to the onion.
- Spread chicken marinated in spices on top.
- Sauté the chicken by stirring to lightly brown. Then pour a glass of water into the pan, make the fire smaller, cover and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- After the water has almost evaporated, add 200 grams of sour cream and, if you wish, a couple of slices of chili pepper for the piquancy of the dish.
- Stew chicken curry for another 10 minutes.
If you do not want to use a ready-made curry seasoning, you can cook it yourself. For this, it will be advisable to use the following spices: turmeric, caraway seeds, coriander, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, anise. Of course, you can use any other appropriate spices that you prefer.
