Step cooking
- First you need to boil water and pour 30 g of raisins with it, leaving it in this state for 15 minutes.
- Rub a pinch of saffron in a mortar and pour 2 tsp. boiling water by analogy with raisins.
- Drive 2 eggs into a deep plate and mix them with a whisk until lush foam is formed. You can also do this with a mixer. Next, immerse the following ingredients in the container of the bread machine in a strict order: saffron water, beaten eggs and 115 g of butter.
- Then there we send 1 tsp. salt, 2 ½ tbsp. l sugar, 40 ml of milk, 285 g of wheat flour and 1 ½ tsp. dry yeast.
- We load the container into the bread machine, select the “sweet bread” program on it and indicate the required weight - 500 g.
- Now we spread the filtered raisins on a paper towel, thereby getting rid of the rest of the water.
- On a cutting board, chop 15 g of almonds. Try not to make too small crumbs to make nuts feel in the pan.
- Dried raisins, almonds and 15 g candied fruit are sent to the test.
- To prepare the glaze, it is necessary to take the protein of 1 egg, mix it with 150 g of powdered sugar and 1 ½ tsp. lemon juice. All this is whipped with a mixer or blender. When the cake is ready, as the timer on the bread machine will notify you, you only need to pour it with icing, and, if desired, decorate with Easter powder.
