Step cooking
- Pour 1 cup of corn grits into the pan, rinse it under running water several times. Then pour 2.5 cups of purified water.
- Put on fire, bring to a boil, and then reduce. Stir periodically during cooking.
- Peel a small pumpkin from the peel and pulp with seeds. Cut into small cubes.
- Heat the pan, put in it a small piece of butter (about 10 grams) and melt it.
- Pour the chopped pumpkin into a hot skillet and add half a glass of water. Bringing to a boil, cook under a closed lid for about 5 minutes.
- After a few minutes, pour 1 cup of milk into the pumpkin, pour out the contents of one bag of vanilla sugar and stir with a silicone / wooden spatula. Stew until soft pumpkin.
- In the process of stewing, add a small handful of raisins as desired, as well as 2 tablespoons of sugar or honey. Do not forget to stir the porridge.
- When the vegetable is cooked and becomes soft, it is necessary to transfer it to a bowl and grind it to a puree condition using a blender, pusher or mixer.
- Transfer the pumpkin puree with raisins to the pan with corn porridge. Continue cooking for another 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Then leave for 20-30 minutes under a closed lid so that it reaches.
The result was a tasty, sweet, healthy dish. Porridge is great for eating at any time of the day: for breakfast, lunch or dinner - in all cases it will be helpful. It can and should even be given to children, because it is rich in vitamins, fiber and complex carbohydrates. Also, our pumpkin dish has excellent taste, which will undoubtedly appeal to most kids and adults. As an option, add a little cinnamon to get a more pronounced taste.
