Ingredients
- Chicken Wings - 0.9-1 kg
- Garlic - 5-6 cloves
- Ginger root slice - 2-3 cm
- Flavourless vegetable oil - 2 tbsp. l
- Soy sauce - 7 tbsp. l
- Honey - 1 tbsp. l
- Sesame seed - 1 tbsp. l
Step cooking
- Wash a kilogram of wings carefully. If the wings are large - cut each in half. We dry the washed wings with paper towels.
- Rub the garlic on a fine grater (5-6 small cloves or 3-4 large ones).
- A piece of ginger root (about 2 cm) is cleaned, washed and also passed through a fine grater.
- In a container with grated ginger and garlic, pour 5 tbsp. l soy sauce and 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil. In the basic recipe, sesame oil is taken. It can be replaced with any other vegetable oil without a bright odor.
- Mix all the ingredients well. We will marinate the wings in this mixture. Pour the marinade over the meat, mix well and leave to soak for a period of 30 minutes to 1.5 hours.
- With paper towels, remove slices of ginger and garlic from the wings and lay them on a baking sheet. You do not need to lubricate the baking sheet, but it is worth covering it with parchment paper. The better you dry the wings, the more crispy the crust will turn out when baking. We put the tray with the wings spread on it in an oven preheated to 220 degrees. Bake for about 20-25 minutes depending on the oven.
- While the chicken wings are baked, we will do the icing. Mix 2 tbsp. l soy sauce with 1 tbsp. l honey. If you are a fan of spicy dishes, you can add a little Tabasco sauce to the sauce. All components are mixed well until smooth.
- After the wings in the oven are browned (approximately 20 minutes after the start of baking), we take out the sheet from the oven and grease each wing with honey-soy glaze with a silicone brush.
