Step cooking
- Wash the rabbit carcass (1 kg) well, dry it, cut it into portions.
- Turn on the slow cooker, select the "Frying" mode, set the time to 15 minutes. Put butter (30 g) in the multicooker bowl. Wait for the oil to warm up.
- Fry the meat in butter until golden brown on all sides. Remove the meat from the slow cooker, put it on a plate.
- Peel the onion (1 pc.), Cut into thin half rings.
- Sauté the onion in the oil left over from roasting the rabbit meat until soft.
- Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried onions from the multicooker on a plate.
- Put the fried rabbit slices in the bowl of the multicooker, place the onion on top.
- Add potable water (100 ml) to the multicooker. Set the "Extinguishing" mode, set the timer for 30 minutes. Close the lid, stew the meat.
- In a deep salad bowl, add sour cream with a fat content of 20% (250 ml), mustard (2 tbsp.), Table salt (to taste), ground black pepper (to taste). Mix well until smooth.
- After completing the thirty-minute stewing regime, open the multicooker lid, pour the meat with sour cream mustard sauce, evenly distribute it over all pieces of meat.
- Extend Extinguishing for another 40 minutes.
Decorate the prepared meat, if desired, with finely chopped greens (not specified in the recipe), serve with various side dishes in hot form, or as an independent cold meat dish. As a side dish, you can take mashed potatoes, rice, buckwheat, pasta. Salads from fresh vegetables with parsley, dill, fennel complement well the delicate taste of rabbit meat. Sauces served with rabbit meat may include fruits (mango, pear, apple), nuts, mushrooms, cognac, wine.
