Step cooking
- In order for the rabbit meat to be even softer and more tender, it is recommended to soak it in water for 1 to 3 hours, periodically changing the water to fresh. Then we dry the rabbit with a paper towel, cut it into medium-sized pieces, freeing from excess films, fat and viscera.
- Salt and pepper the meat to taste, pour 2 - 3 tbsp. l odorless vegetable oil, mix well and leave to marinate for a while.
- We clean and cut two medium-sized onions into thin half rings.
- Wash the mushrooms, peel and cut each into four parts. For this recipe, you can use absolutely any mushrooms that you like - oyster mushrooms, clams or forest.
- Peel and chop the garlic cloves.
- We start to fry the ingredients. We turn on the multicooker and set the "Frying" mode. Spread the rabbit meat in one layer on the bottom of the bowl and fry until golden brown on both sides. If the meat does not fit all at once, it should be fried in parts.
- We put the fried rabbit in a bowl so that it rests until the remaining ingredients are fried.
- Put the chopped onion in the multicooker bowl, fry for 1 - 2 minutes and add the mushrooms. The excess liquid from the mushrooms should evaporate, and the onion with mushrooms should be fried.
- Prepare sour cream. In order to get a sour cream sauce, 200 ml of cold water, salt, pepper and a pinch of dried garlic should be added to 250 g of sour cream, mix well until a homogeneous consistency. You can use any spices and seasonings.
- When the mushrooms with onions are fried, return the rabbit to the slow cooker, mix. The meat should be below, and the mushrooms on top.
- Next, sprinkle with chopped garlic and pour in sour cream sauce.
- Add one bay leaf, bring to a boil, if necessary, add more salt to taste. We close the multicooker with a lid, set the "Extinguishing" mode to 1.5 - 2 hours, during cooking, you do not need to open the lid. The longer the rabbit cooks, the softer it will turn out.
- The finished dish can be served with any side dish - potatoes, rice, vermicelli, vegetables, etc. The meat is very soft, juicy, in a creamy sauce with mushroom flavor. Enjoy your meal!
