Step cooking
- Before cooking, you need to get the frozen shrimp to melt it. It’s best to do this in a few hours by simply placing it on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator. So the shrimp will not succumb to warm rays and will better retain its properties and texture.
- Wash young onions and peeled garlic cloves, chop as finely as possible and put in a bowl. Add a little vegetable oil and mix well. Allow to stand for 5-7 minutes, so that the oil absorbs the aromas of onions and garlic.
- Shrimp need to be cleaned, leaving ponytails. Although the tail is not edible, it looks quite harmoniously in the dish as a decoration.
- Make a small longitudinal incision along the back of each shrimp. Firstly, this is necessary in order to remove the stomach and intestines of the shrimp - a dark strip that is very easy to notice and remove. Secondly, with such an incision, the shrimp will open better during the frying process and will absorb more taste and aroma.
- Heat the wok pan well and put onion and garlic mixture. Stir, fry this mixture for 30-40 seconds.
- Then put the shrimp in the pan and cook them for 1-2 minutes, constantly stirring with a spoon or spatula.
- Add salt and ground black pepper to taste, add a little soy sauce. Remember that soy sauce itself is already salty, so do not overdo it with salt. Stir and fry everything for another 20-30 seconds.
- Then turn off the heat and put the shrimp from the pan onto a flat plate. Garnish with sprigs of green onions.
This dish can be served both independently and with some kind of light side dish. For example, cook rice, pasta, or bake potatoes. Make a light salad of vegetables, which can also be combined with seafood. As an option, in addition, you can make assorted slices of cheese and vegetables. Very harmoniously fried shrimps are combined with sweet and sour sauces and lemon juice. If you do not have the opportunity to prepare the sauce, just sprinkle them with lemon or lime juice, and the dish will already have a completely updated taste.

When choosing a shrimp, you should pay attention to the following factors:
- Choose freshly frozen shrimp. Its color should be gray-brown, without yellowness and black spots. Otherwise, such a shrimp or spoiled, or old.
- Shrimp tail should be slightly twisted up. A straight tail indicates that she died before the freezing process.
- A bag of frozen shrimp should not have lumps of snow or ice.
