Step cooking
Prepare shrimp
- The first step is to prepare for use shrimp, because we took frozen directly from the freezer.
- We wash them under running cold water, put them on a paper towel, and dry them a little. We place clean, but still frozen seafood in a deep container and sprinkle with salt. Keep it like this for a few minutes.
- Then again we place under a stream of cold water and hold until completely defrosted.
- We cut the carapace with a knife, remove the plates, remembering the legs of the shrimp. We do this very carefully so as not to tear the carcass meat.
- Then we remove the intestinal vein. If the shrimp is completely thawed, then the black vein is easily pulled out.
- After that, wash the shrimp thoroughly again under cold water, let the liquid drain, then they can be used for other purposes.
Cooking a dish
- Four cloves of garlic are peeled, washed under a tap, cut into thin plates on a cutting board, removed to the side.
- Half a bunch of fresh parsley, chopped finely on the work surface, removed to the side.
- We put the pan on the fire, pour 30 ml of vegetable oil there, let it warm up well. In the warmed vegetable oil, spread the sliced garlic, fry for literally one minute, stirring with a kitchen spatula so as not to burn.
- 400 grams of peeled shrimp are sent to the pan, quickly fried over high heat, stirring occasionally.
- Add chopped parsley during frying, mix the ingredients. Now we add the shrimp to about one teaspoon of salt and add half a teaspoon of black pepper to the pan.
- Then pour 150-200 ml of low-fat cream into the pan, mix the ingredients in the pan, let it cook until the cream thickens. Stew the shrimp in a creamy sauce over low heat, stir from time to time with a tablespoon.
- If you want, at the end of cooking you can add a little nutmeg to the pan, about a quarter of a teaspoon, after rubbing it on a fine grater.
- When the cream thickens, remove the pan from the heat. We spread the shrimp in a creamy sauce on a portioned plate, decorate with a slice of lemon and two or three basil leaves, we can serve it on the table.
