Ingredients
- Parmesan - 150 g
- Cream cheese - 300 g
- Cream 10% - 250 ml
- Potato - 2 pcs.
- Water - 400 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Greens to taste
Step cooking
- Finely chop 150 g of parmesan.
- Just finely chop 300 g of cream cheese.
- Peel 2 potatoes, cut them into small cubes. In a saucepan we heat 400 ml of water, dip the potatoes there and boil until tender (we check the readiness with a fork).
- Add half the chopped cheese to the water with potatoes.
- Beat the cheese and potato mass with a blender. Heat 250 ml of cream and add to the soup, stir.
- Add the remaining cheese. Once again, grind the mass with a blender.
- Pepper to taste. When serving, add a little greens to the plate.
Useful Tips
- It is important to know that cream soup and mashed soup are not the same thing. Cream soup must be prepared with cream (or milk, or a special broth, which is thickened with fried flour and a lezon - a mixture of heavy cream and fresh egg yolks).
- Cream soup can be prepared not only from cheese, but also from various vegetables, meat, fish, seafood, mushrooms, cereals.
