Ingredients
- Potato - 700 g
- Minced meat - 500 g
- Onions - 2 pcs.
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Oatmeal - 3 tbsp. l
- Milk - 100 g
- Butter - 30 g
- Bay leaf - 3-4 pcs.
- Chicken Egg - 2 pcs.
- Sour cream - 2 tbsp. l
- Ketchup - 1 tbsp. l
- Water - 50-70 ml
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Provencal herbs (optional) - to taste
Step cooking
- First, peel the potatoes from the skin, rinse it thoroughly, fill it with cold water and put on the stove. Bring to a boil and cook for about 10 minutes until half cooked.
- Next, peel 2 small onions. One of them needs to be chopped and added to the stuffing. And the second is cut into small cubes.
- After that, pour 3 tbsp. l oatmeal and pour them with hot milk. Then leave the flakes to swell for 15-20 minutes.
- Sprinkle the chopped onion lightly with salt and thoroughly crush it to squeeze the juice. After that, the onions are sent to the stuffing.
- Add 1 chicken egg, steamed cereal, salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, add Provencal herbs.
- Mix everything thoroughly to thoroughly beat the minced meat. If desired, 1 clove of garlic can be added to the minced meat. If the forcemeat is liquid, you can add 1 tbsp. l flour, and for spiciness sometimes add a little mayonnaise. The minced meat is left for about 20 minutes.
- Next, proceed to the preparation of the sauce. In a separate container we spread 2 tbsp. l sour cream, we beat in it 1 chicken egg, salt and pepper to taste, optionally, add spices and beat well. After that, add ketchup and, if desired, mayonnaise. Mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
- After that, pour 50-70 ml of boiled water into the sauce and stir until smooth.
- We grease the baking dish with butter and lay the potatoes in the center of the mold.
- Then we separate a little minced meat, roll it in flour, forming a cutlet, and put it around the perimeter of the form. Try to make all cutlets of the same size. On the sides we spread the bay leaf.
- Next, pour the potatoes and cutlets for the cutlets with sauce. The sauce should not cover the potatoes and minced meat completely.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Cover the form with foil and put in a preheated oven. Bake for 20 minutes. After that, remove the foil and bake for another 15-20 minutes. Before serving, you can decorate the finished dish with finely chopped greens. Enjoy your meal.
