Step cooking
Buckwheat Cooking
- Pour 2 cups of water into a saucepan and set on fire. Sort 1 cup of buckwheat to remove pebbles, garbage and unpeeled grains. Rinse the buckwheat several times under running cold water.
- Salt the boiling water to taste and put the washed cereal into it.
- Cook the buckwheat until cooked on low heat for 10-20 minutes. Check the readiness of buckwheat by running a spoon along the bottom. If there is no water there or the porridge already sticks to it a little, then it can be removed from the stove. Add 20 grams of butter to buckwheat and let it brew for half an hour.
Minced meat
- Finely chop 1 onion and 3-5 cloves of garlic.
- In a deep bowl, put 500 grams of minced meat, 1 cup boiled buckwheat and chopped onions with garlic. Salt, pepper and add your favorite spices.
- Break 1 egg into the minced meat. Stir everything thoroughly with your hands.
- Pour the breading mixture into a separate flat plate. You can also use flour or crackers.
- Alternately shape the cutlets of the desired size and roll them in the breading mixture. Put the patties on a separate plate.
Frying cutlets
- Pour vegetable oil onto a hot pan.
- Put the patties in the pan. Fry until golden brown for 2-3 minutes on each side.
Cooking dressing
- 1 onion, cut into small cubes.
- 1 grate carrots on a coarse grater.
- Pour a little vegetable oil into the same pan in which the patties were fried. Sauté the onion until golden brown.
- Add carrots to the onion and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- In the pan, add 1-2 tablespoons of tomato paste (you can take ketchup) and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil until the mixture begins to thicken.
Stewing cutlets
- Put the cutlets in a separate pan.
- Pour them with dressing from vegetables and tomato paste.
- Send on the stove to stew for 20-30 minutes. Cutlets are ready. Enjoy your meal!
