Ingredients
Product | amount |
Pumpkin | 1 kg |
Milk (2.5%) | 100 ml |
Semolina | 3 tbsp. l |
Sugar | 1 tbsp. l |
Salt | pinch |
Vanilla sugar | 1 tsp |
Butter | 30 - 40 g |
Flour (rice or wheat) | 100 - 200 g |
Vegetable oil | 1 - 2 tbsp. l |
Step cooking
- We take 1 kg of pumpkin, peel it and rub it on a coarse grater.
- We put the pan on the stove and melt 30-40 g of butter on it.
- After the butter has melted, put the grated pumpkin in the pan.
- Stew the pumpkin in the pan without covering. It is necessary to bring it almost to readiness and evaporate all the liquid.
- After about 15 minutes after frying, add a pinch of salt and fry for a few more minutes. When the liquid evaporates, reduce heat and add 1 tbsp. l sugar and 3 tbsp. l semolina. Mix.
- Pour 100 ml of milk into the pumpkin and add 1 tsp. vanilla sugar.
- Fry for another 3 to 4 minutes, stirring constantly. If you have a too thick consistency, you can dilute a little more with milk and warm in a pan for a few more minutes.
- Pour pumpkin porridge into the bowl and let it cool.
- When the pumpkin mass cools down, it will become a little thicker, and you can begin to form cutlets. Pour into a plate 100 - 200 g of flour (rice or wheat).
- We take 1 tbsp. l pumpkin puree and form a circle out of it. Blend this circle in flour and put it on a cutting board sprinkled with flour. So do with all the pumpkin puree.
- Then we form cutlets from these circles.
- Heat in a pan 1 - 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil and put pumpkin cutlets on it. Fry the patties until golden brown on both sides.
- Let the cutlets cool down a bit and enjoy the taste.
