Ingredients
- Butter - 220 g
- Sugar - 200-220 g
- Chicken eggs - 3 pcs.
- Sour cream - 125 g
- Wheat flour - 250 g
- Baking powder - 1 sachet
- Vanilla Sugar - 1 sachet
- Hard apples - 4 pcs.
Step cooking
- Put butter in the amount of 220 grams in the microwave for literally 30 seconds so that it becomes soft. We do this if the oil was stored in a freezer or refrigerator. You can pre-get the oil from the refrigerator, leave at room temperature for 1 hour. We place the softened butter in a bowl in which we will knead the dough for the pie.
- Add 150 grams of granulated sugar and 1 packet of vanilla sugar to the oil.
- Rub the components thoroughly with a tablespoon until completely homogeneous.
- Wash 3 chicken eggs under the tap, break them, place the proteins and yolks separately in small containers.
- Yolks are immediately added to the bowl with the oil mixture, and the proteins are sent to the refrigerator.
- In a bowl with a mixture of butter and sugar, add 125 grams of sour cream and mix the foods thoroughly with a tablespoon.
- Then pour 1 bag of baking powder into this mixture, sift through a sieve 250 grams of wheat flour.
- Mix all the ingredients again with a tablespoon. We should get a soft dough, malleable, such that it can be mixed with a spoon.
- While the dough is resting, prepare apples for the pie. Under the tap, wash 4 medium-sized apples. It is desirable that the apples are sweet and sour in taste and hard. We clean them from the peel and internal seeds, the core. Cut the fruit into half slices. We remove to the side.
- We take out the proteins from the refrigerator, put them in a glass of a blender, beat with a blender until stable peaks form. If the glass is turned upside down, the mixture will not fall out - to such a consistency you need to beat the proteins.
- Then gradually introduce the protein foam into the dough. Using neat interfering movements, we combine the proteins with the dough, obtaining a uniform texture.
- In a round baking dish, spread the dough, pre-lubricate the form with vegetable oil or pork fat.
- In a circle from above we stick apple slices into the dough, leaving a small space between them. We make the second circle of slices, sticking them into the left space, and the third, final, we form in the center of the pie.
- Now sprinkle the apples with granulated sugar. For this we need only 2 tablespoons of sugar. It is better to use brown sugar for sprinkling, but if there is none, ordinary sugar will not spoil the product.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, send the cake form, bake for 30-40 minutes, which depends on the features and capabilities of your oven.
Useful Tips
- Before serving the cake, give it time to cool.
- To prevent damage to the product, cover it with a dish, turn the cake pan over, and then perform the reverse operation. Now cut the cake into portions and serve with tea.
- Check the readiness of the product using a wooden stick.
