Kitchen appliances and utensils
- gas or electric stove;
- pan;
- cutting board;
- sharp kitchen knife;
- cans with a capacity of 1 l;
- metal covers for conservation;
- ladle.
Ingredients
- Cucumbers - 3 kg
- Dill - 2 bunches
- Hot pepper - 1/4 pcs.
- Blackcurrant - 200 g
- Cherry leaves to taste
- Garlic - 1 head
- Vinegar - 80 ml
- Salt - 50 g
- Sugar - 25 g
- Bay leaf - 1 pc.
- Allspice - 2 pcs.
- Carnation - 1 pc.
Step cooking
- We take 2 cans of 1 liter capacity, thoroughly rinse them under running water and put 1 peeled garlic clove, 4 dill branches and 1 hot pepper ring on the bottom of each can.
- Next, take 3 kilograms of fresh cucumbers, thoroughly rinse them under water and soak them in water at room temperature for 3-6 hours.
- Now we spread the cucumbers in jars in a way convenient for you. If the cucumbers do not fit in the jar, then simply cut them into circles and put them in the jar.
- We turn on the gas or electric stove, put a pot of water on it and bring it to a boil. In each jar with cucumbers we put 1-2 small twigs of cherry and 5 berries of fresh currant. On top of the cucumbers, we also lay out a sprig of fresh dill.
- Fill the cucumbers with boiling water, close the lid and leave to cool completely.
- While the cucumbers are cooling on a gas or electric stove, once again we put the pan with water to boil. When the cucumbers are completely cool, drain the water and fill the jars with boiling water again. We give banks time to cool.
- Pour the cooled water into a separate pan and add 50 grams of salt, 25 grams of sugar, 1 bay leaf, 2 pieces of allspice and 1 piece of clove. Mix the ingredients thoroughly. Salt must be used without unnecessary additives in the form of iodine and various vitamins. Turn on the gas or electric stove again and over the medium heat bring the marinade to a boil.
- As soon as the marinade boils, pour 80 milliliters of 9% vinegar into it and pour into jars.
- After the marinade is bottled in jars, you must immediately roll them up. You can also sterilize the cans in boiling water for 15 minutes first, and only then roll them up.
- Turn over the finished jars and wrap them in a warm blanket for 1.5-2 days.
- Canned cucumbers for the winter are ready, bon appetit!
