Kitchen appliances and utensils: a 3-liter can, a bowl, a pan of at least 3 liters, a teapot, a cup, a nylon cover with holes for draining water from a can, a metal cover for canning and a canning key, a towel, a plaid or a blanket for wrapping cans.

Step cooking
- Pre-prepare the jars: rinse and dry them well. Sterilize the banks do not need. Sort the grape heads and rinse well in several waters. Do not remove the berries from the brushes.
- Fill cans (3 liters) with washed grape pots to 1/3 or 1/4 of the can. Keep in mind that the more grapes there are in the jar, the more intense and concentrated the taste of compote will be.
- Boil clean water and pour grapes in a jar of boiling water.
- Cover the can with a metal lid for canning and leave for 15-20 minutes.
- After 15-20 minutes, replace the metal cover with a capron with holes and drain the water from the can into the pan.
- Add sugar (300 grams) to the drained water and place the pan on the stove. Bring water with sugar to a boil and boil until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Pour the grapes well with boiled syrup a second time. Close the can with a metal lid for canning and roll it with a special key.
- Turn the rolled up jar onto the lid (upside down) and wrap it well. After complete cooling, open the jar and turn over.
You can store compote from grapes for the winter in the cellar or basement, and at room temperature.
Any grape variety is suitable for making compote, but a drink made of small blue grapes of Isabella variety will be especially aromatic. Rolling compote from white grape varieties for a more saturated color, you can add other fruits: black currant, cherry or plum. Apples or pears go well with grapes. If the grapes are too sweet, you can add a little citric acid to the compote.
