If you are not sure about the quality of the acquired dried fruits, then, after washing, soak them for 20 minutes in cold water. So the amount of harmful substances will decrease, and the dust from the folds of fruits will be better washed.
Step cooking
First way
- To begin with, 250 g of dried fruit should be washed well and thrown into a colander to glass the water. Washed dried fruit pour 1 liter of cold water and leave them for several hours to swell. This is best done in the evening. Then, overnight, they absorb water well.
- We transfer the swollen dried fruits into a 5-liter pan and fill it with the remaining 2 liters of water.
- We put the pan on the stove and bring to a boil.
- When the compote boils, add 1 cup of sugar. You can take more or less to your liking. Stir the sugar until completely dissolved.
- After boiling the compote again, turn it off and let it brew for 0.5 hours under the lid. Compote is ready.
The second way of cooking: compote, which is cooked at night
- Put a pot of water on the fire. When the water boils, add 1 cup of sugar. Stirring, wait until the sugar is completely dissolved.
- As in the first case, thoroughly rinse the dried fruits and let the water drain. Next, unload the dried fruits into a saucepan, bring to a boil, turn off the heat, tightly cover and leave to insist overnight. By morning, you will receive a magnificent infusion of dried fruits, which is not a shame to serve guests. It is very important that with this cooking method all vitamins are stored in the compote. Everything fruit is rich in, they give to water.
