Ingredients
Cranberry | 400 g |
Sugar | taste |
Water | 1.5 l |
Step cooking
- Rinse cranberries under running water to remove excess twigs and dirt. If you are using frozen food, then initially defrost it.
- Pour the cranberries into a fine sieve and grind so that only one cake is left in the sieve and cranberry juice is in the bowl.
- Boil 1.5 l of water, when characteristic bubbles appear, add sugar, mix thoroughly until it is completely dissolved. Then let it cool for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Transfer cranberry cake to previously boiled water and let it brew for 30-60 minutes, which will allow you to get a rich taste in the compote in the future.
- Strain the resulting mixture through a fine sieve and mix with cranberry juice until smooth. Juice will enhance the saturation of the taste of the drink, and also give a pleasant red tint.
