Kitchen appliances and utensils: electric oven, pan of at least 4 liters, kitchen scales and other measuring accessories, cutting board, a pair of deep bowls, a sharp knife, a tablespoon.
Ingredients
Components | Proportions |
bottled water | 3 l |
apples | 250 g |
chokeberry | 150-200 g |
granulated sugar | 50-70 g |
Step cooking
- Fresh apples in an amount of 250 g are thoroughly washed with running water, and then dried with paper towels. We remove the core, seeds and damaged areas, if any. Cut the fruit into small thin slices and send it to the pan in which we are going to cook the compote.
- Aronia, about 150-200 g, are thoroughly washed and sent after apples.
- Add 50-70 g of granulated sugar there, depending on how much sweet compote you prefer. Instead of sugar, you can safely use liquid honey, but in this case, add it to the already cooked and cooled compote.
- Pour the prepared ingredients with 3 liters of bottled water.
- We send the pan to the stove, where we bring the liquid to a boil. Stirring the compote periodically, cook it over medium heat for 5-7 minutes.
- After this time, turn off the stove and leave the compote under the lid until it cools completely.
- Pass the cooled compote through a gauze filter and serve. You can not filter the compote, but serve it along with fruits and berries - it completely depends on your desire.
