Ingredients
Product | amount |
Shortbread | 400 g |
Milk | 80-100 ml |
Sugar | 200 g |
Cocoa powder | 30-40 g |
Walnut kernels | 1 cup |
Butter | 300 g |
Egg yolk | 1 PC. |
Step cooking
- Mix 200 g of sugar and 30-40 g of cocoa powder in a deep bowl.
- Put the cocoa sugar in a pan, add 300 g of butter to it. You can put it in one piece, or you can divide it into parts - so it dissolves faster.
- Add 80-100 ml of milk to the pan.
- Place it on the stove until it boils, stirring the contents regularly. Leave the mixture on the table until it cools completely.
- Break 400 g of cookies into small pieces, put it in a bowl. Cut walnut kernels (1 cup) into small pieces. Stir the broken cookie with nuts.
- In a slightly warm chocolate mixture, add 1 egg yolk, mix well.
- Put cookies with nuts in a saucepan, stirring it with chocolate mass.
- Spread a piece of parchment paper on the table and put the mixture of chocolate and cookies on it. It should be an elongated roller.
- Using paper, compact it with your hands and form a sausage. Send the sausage wrapped in paper in the refrigerator at least for the night, but ideally for a day.
- When the dessert has completely cooled and hardened, it can be cut like a regular sausage. Cookies will be white on the cut, so that the dish fully lives up to its name. Sliced pieces of sausage can be beautifully laid out on a plate and served on a sweet table. Enjoy your meal!
