Kitchen appliances and utensils: gas or electric stove, coffee grinder, Turk, French press, kettle, coffee cup, glass for milk, metal stewpan, coffee spoon, spoon for mixing ground coffee.
Ingredients
coffee bean | 30 g |
water | 200 ml |
milk 2.5-3.2% | 300 ml |
sugar | taste |
Step cooking
- Take 30 grams of coffee beans and grind it in a coffee grinder. The resulting coffee powder must be finely ground. Grind the grains immediately before preparing the drink so that the coffee is fresh.
- Pour coffee into a Turk and warm it on the stove for about a minute, and then add a little water to cover the coffee and mix gently. After that, add more water to the narrowest part in the Turk. Make a few circular motions with the turk with coffee, so it tastes better. Leave the coffee on the stove until ready.
- In the meantime, pour 300 ml of milk into the stewpan and place on the stove a little warm.
- Prepare a french press for milk. Pour hot water into it and shake a little so that the entire container is heated. This must be done so that the dishes in which you pour a warm liquid are also warm.
- If you see that the coffee in the Turk begins to rise on the sides, you can remove it from the stove, it is ready. Make a couple more circular movements of the Turk to give coffee a density. After that, let it cool slightly.
- Heat the dishes in which you want to make a drink, it can be a glass or a cup, in the same way as a French press. It is better to choose a cappuccino dish with thick walls to keep warm. Drain the water from a French press and pour milk into it to half the volume. The French press piston needs to be moved up and down for about 40 seconds to beat the milk and saturate with oxygen. Your milk will be ready when the froth appears.
- Pour water from a heated cappuccino glass and pour coffee from a turk into it.
- Pour the milk from the French press into a separate container and immediately slowly and slightly in a circular motion pour it in the right amount into a glass of coffee. If desired, sugar can be added to taste.
Important! If you don’t have a French press, you can beat the milk with a mixer or a regular whisk right in the saucepan, without bringing the milk to a boil. You can draw a cappuccino on the foam using any clean stick or toothpick.
There are a lot of options for making this drink. You can add cinnamon, sugar, liquor, caramel syrup, sprinkle with chocolate chips. All these are only your preferences in taste.
