Step cooking
Cooking meat sauce
- Finely chop one medium-sized onion. Grind one clove of garlic.
- We heat the pan, pour 2 tbsp. l odorless vegetable oil. Add onion, garlic and fry over medium heat until golden brown.
- It is better to use minced meat from two types of meat: pork and beef. But you can also cook chicken, turkey or any other stuffing to your taste. Add the minced meat to the onion and garlic, mix well and fry for 3 - 4 minutes until the color changes. Then salt and pepper to taste. Optionally, you can add any spices and seasonings to the sauce.
- Pour 400 g of chopped tomatoes in their own juice or mashed tomatoes in their own juice, mix. If the sauce is too thick, add a little water.
- Cover the pan with a lid and leave to cook over low heat for 10 minutes.
Making Bechamel Sauce
- Heat a stewpan or a small saucepan, add 40 g of butter. The oil should melt completely. To prevent butter from burning, you can add a few drops of odorless vegetable oil.
- As soon as the butter has melted and warmed well, add 30 g of wheat flour and mix thoroughly with a whisk. Fry flour for 20-30 seconds until golden brown.
- Pour 500 g of milk into a thin stream, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Boil the sauce should be 5 - 7 minutes over low heat until thickened.
- At the very end, add 0.5 tsp. ground nutmeg, mix and remove from the stove.
Cooking Lasagna
- The baking dish should be taken so that it is with high sides and the sheets of lasagna fit snugly together. On the bottom of the form we lay out the sheets of lasagna.
- Evenly distribute half the meat sauce on top.
- We put 5-6 basil leaves on the sauce.
- Next, pour 1/3 of the bechamel sauce.
- Cover with sheets of lasagna and repeat the filling - meat sauce, basil leaves, bechamel sauce.
- Lay the sheets of lasagna on top and pour abundantly with the remaining bechamel sauce.
- Sprinkle grated mozzarella over the entire surface of the dish.
- Cover the form with foil and send it to a preheated oven to 200 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes. At the end of cooking, remove the foil and bake for another 7 - 10 minutes until golden brown.
- We lay the finished lasagna on plates and invite everyone to the table. Enjoy your meal!
