Step cooking
- Before cooking, melt a little 180 g of butter. It should be soft, but not liquid, and beat well. Put the soft butter in a deep bowl and combine with a similar amount of sugar. Beat the ingredients with a mixer for 1-2 minutes until a homogeneous consistency.
- Continue to beat the butter with sugar and alternately add 3 chicken eggs. Stir the ingredients at maximum speed. Salt the resulting mixture with a pinch of salt. To make a cupcake, you need 1 orange. We wash the fruit well, because we need not pulp, but only citrus zest. Rub the peel on a fine grater and add to the total mass.
- Sift through a sieve 230 g of wheat flour and add it to a deep bowl to other ingredients.
- To the rest of the products we also add 1/2 tsp. spices for baking, which includes vanilla, cinnamon and cloves. You also need to add 1/2 tsp. soda. It can also be replaced with a baking powder in an amount of 1.5 tsp.
- Mix everything thoroughly until smooth. You can do this with a spoon or use a mixer. The finished dough turns out a little liquidy and sticks to your hands. We put 200 g of candied fruit in the dough and mix it again so that they are evenly distributed.
- We shift the dough with candied fruit into a rectangular shape measuring 24x10 cm. If you don’t have a shape of exactly this size, then use any other. There is no need to pre-lubricate the silicone mold. If your form is not made of silicone, then it is worth lubricating it with vegetable oil. Evenly distribute all the dough in shape using a spatula. On top of the cupcake can be sprinkled with almond flakes.
- Preheat the oven to 160 degrees and set to bake a cupcake for an hour. It may take another 10-15 minutes for the cupcake to completely brown. After an hour, we remove the cupcake from the oven and check its readiness with a toothpick. If it is dry when piercing a cake, then it is completely ready. Leave the cake to cool for a few minutes and carefully remove from the mold. Serve for tea or coffee, cut into small slices.
