Step cooking
Ingredient preparation
- We clean from the top layer and wash 3-4 medium potatoes and rub them on a coarse grater.
- We wash the tomatoes and bell pepper, remove the inedible elements (tails, seeds, etc.) and cut into thin rings.
- Rinse and finely chop green onions.
- Rub cheese on a coarse grater.
- We clear the sausage from the skin and thinly chop or take already prepared.
- To make the sauce, mix 2 tsp. grated tomatoes (can be replaced with ordinary ketchup), 2 tsp. sour cream and 1 tsp. Dijon or regular mustard. All this is mixed until a homogeneous consistency. Add fragrant herbs if desired.
Cooking pizza
- In a deep bowl, combine the grated potatoes, 1 chicken egg, 2 tbsp. l sifted wheat flour, chopped green onions, a pinch of ground black pepper (or a mixture of peppers) and salt to taste.
- Mix to make the ingredients evenly disperse.
- In a heated pan, pour 1 tbsp. l vegetable oil and evenly spread the potato mass. Fry it on one side until golden brown for 5-7 minutes.
- Using a saucer, turn the potato cake to the other side.
- Lubricate the top with sauce, randomly spread the filling of sausage, bell pepper and tomato.
- Sprinkle generously with grated cheese on top.
- We cover the pan with a lid and make minimal heating on the stove. Cook for another 2-3 minutes to fry the potato cake, heat the filling and melt the cheese.
- We serve hot pizza, sliced into portioned pieces, on top of it you can sprinkle with fresh herbs.
