- Before preparing such a drink, you must first weigh the ginger root in order to calculate the exact proportions of the other ingredients. This recipe uses 140 g of ginger. When preparing a drink, it is required to count products - per 100 g of ginger 1 liter of liquid. In this case, water will need 1.5 liters. Be sure to clean the ginger root from the crust, because if this is not done, the tea will have an unpleasant earthen flavor, which can no longer be removed. Peeled ginger into small pieces. Pieces of ginger are transferred to a blender bowl and pour about 50 ml of water. Fluid is required for ginger to beat better. Grind the ginger root in a blender to a puree state.
- Shredded ginger is transferred to the pan and pour 700 ml of water in it. The liquid may be at room temperature. We put the pan with ginger on the fire, wait until the liquid boils, and turn off the stove.
- After boiling the ginger root after boiling, filter through a sieve in a deep bowl. We do not throw out the pulp, as it is still needed.
- In a saucepan in which mashed ginger is left, pour another 750 ml of water and put it again on the stove over medium heat. After boiling, turn off the stove and filter the tea through a sieve again into the same bowl as the first half of the ginger liquid.
- Combine the first concentrate with the second and pour the resulting liquid into a large jug. The resulting concentrate is poured into 0.5 l and 1 l glass jars. You can store such liquid from ginger in the refrigerator for 2 weeks.
- We brew regular tea in a separate cup using a simple tea leaves and 250 ml of boiling water. If desired, add a little natural honey and mix well until the honey is completely dissolved. Pour into tea about 9 tsp. the resulting ginger concentrate and mix. Ginger tea is ready. It has a rich taste and contains a large number of useful components. Such tea will be a good find in the winter, especially with colds.
