Ingredients
- pork ribs - 12 pcs.
- a mixture of peppers - 1-2 tsp.
- vegetable oil - 3 tbsp. l
- sesame oil - 1 tbsp. l
- grapefruit - ½ pcs.
- soy sauce - ½ stack.
- ketchup - 3 tbsp. l
- rice vinegar - 2 tbsp. l
- sugar - 1 tbsp. l
- ginger to taste
Step cooking
- First, thoroughly rinse a section of 12 pork ribs under cold running water. and dry them with paper towels. Cut 2 ribs so that each piece on the right ends with meat.
- Sprinkle the chopped ribs with a mixture of 5 peppers on both sides and place them in a deep bowl.
- In the meantime, prepare the sauce for marinating the ribs. Cut one grapefruit in half and squeeze juice out of it, then pour it into a saucepan and heat slightly over low heat.
- Add ½ stack to grapefruit juice. soy sauce and 3 tbsp. l ketchup.
- Also add to the stewpan 2 tbsp. l rice vinegar and 1 tbsp. l sugar, mix well with a spoon. Boil the sauce on low heat so that all the ingredients are mixed until smooth.
- Peel about 2 cm in length of the ginger and chop it with a knife. Add chopped ginger to the sauce and boil it for about 10-15 minutes until thick.
- Pour 3 tbsp into the pan. l vegetable oil and heat it over medium heat. Place the ribs in the pan with the convex side down and fry them until golden brown on both sides.
- Then reduce the heat, flip the ribs back with the convex side and pour part of the sauce into the pan.
- Add more of the sauce and flip the ribs. And so do only 3 times, turning the ribs every 2 minutes so that they are marinated in a hot way. Then turn off the stove.
- Transfer the ribs into a deep bowl and fill them with sauce from the pan. If possible, leave the ribs marinated in the sauce overnight, or at least for a few hours.
- Cover the baking sheet with foil and lay the ribs on it with a fork.
- In a bowl with marinade, pour about 1 tbsp. l sesame oil and mix well, then pour the ribs on the baking sheet with this icing.
- Preheat the oven to 240 ºС and send the ribs to be baked for about 25-30 minutes. In the process of cooking, pour about 2 times more glaze over the ribs to get a beautiful golden crust. Serve the finished ribs with any side dish to your liking.
- Optionally, when serving, you can sprinkle ribs with sesame seeds and chopped herbs.
