Ingredients
buckwheat | 500 g |
Champignon mushrooms | 400 g |
onion | 1 PC. |
carrot | 1 PC. |
garlic | 4 cloves |
vegetable oil | 50 ml |

Step cooking
- Pour 50 ml of vegetable oil into a heated pan.
- Dice the onions and send them to fry until golden brown.
- Pour 500 g of washed buckwheat into boiling salted water and cook until tender.
- Finely chop 4 cloves of garlic and send it to the onion.
- There we transfer 1 carrot grated on a coarse grater and fry it for about 3 minutes.
- We put in a pan 400 g of sliced mushrooms. Salt and pepper everything to taste, continuing to fry until cooked.
- Pour boiled buckwheat to other ingredients, mix, cover and let it brew for 15 minutes.
- We lay out the finished dish on plates and serve.
How to boil buckwheat
In order for buckwheat porridge to be tasty and crumbly, it is important to observe several conditions in the process of its preparation:
- Go through the cereal and remove all foreign elements from it.
- Rinse the buckwheat a couple of times until the water is clear.
- To make the cereal more crumbly, it is better to pierce it in a pan. This should be done no more than 4 minutes.
- The water in the pan should be 2 times more than buckwheat. Also choose to cook cereals with a thick bottom.
- As soon as the liquid begins to boil, add about 0.5 tbsp. l salt.
- After buckwheat boils, remove the foam from it. Cover the pan and cook porridge for 15-20 minutes without stirring it.
- Remove the lid and check for water remaining in the pan. If she’s not there, you can turn off the fire.
